"Edgedancer by Brandon Sanderson 1/5 ⭐ DNF 22% ~Ch.1 I quickly realized that the whole prologue was in WoR and not worth a reread mostly because it was my least favorite part of that book and Ch. 1 is immediately awash in modern terminology that really doesn't fit in this series. The whole world and character building and expansion just to ruin it with modern terms that jerk you out of immersion. All for the word 'awesome'."

"Brandon Sanderson has done it again with this short Novella!! This book takes place in between the second and third Stormlight Archive books, and I definitely recommend reading this one before moving on. It’s definitely worth the read!! This Novella follows Lift, a character who hadn’t had very much time to shine in the main books!! Lift, is one of my favorite characters in the series, and that is saying a lot, simply because of all the characters present in the books!! Lift is funny, mischievous, and as adventurous as they come!! She is so fun to read about, making me physically laugh a lot-and physically gasp because of her outrageous comments to anyone and anything!! Every part of her story is so engaging, it’s hard to not be on the edge of your seat whilst reading!! This story ties perfectly into the books, beginning where we last left off with Lift in Words Of Radiance!! Then following her on her adventures, traveling from city to city, using her…Awesomeness *wink *wink… We also get to know her Spren, Wyndle!! The moral of the short story is something that is very interesting, especially for a character like Lift. I believe it shows her development, even in just a short amount of time!! As much as I love Lift and this novella. I do understand that Lift is a character some people may not be a fan of, unfortunately. However I still do recommend giving this novella a read, or a listen. It’s not long at all, and there are some things you may still enjoy, even if your not a Lift fan. If you cannot tell, I definitely recommend, and highly encourage this read✨ "
