The Witcher Boxed Set

"This book is partly hard to comprehend in English, yet definitely worth of your time. I had a chance to read it in original language (Polish). The story is very good, however I would highly recommend to take a look at folk Slavic tales and mythology. For me Slavic background made this book even more fascinating, how beautifully various tales from my childhood organized to an adult literature. The background reading definitely helps to make more sense of the world of the story and a lot of dialogues (may it even will change your whole composition of some part in writing). However there are some characters from other mythologies, which I like even more since it kind of tied in the main base of Slavic culture. I love the choice of third perspective as it maintains(as one of the examples) Gerald - main character at some parts mysterious and it should be this way.
