"4.5⭐
I have been looking forward to this book for ages, and it did not leave me disappointed! Although I didn't think that this book was as amazing as the Kingdom of the Wicked series, I did think that it was better than Throne of the Fallen. Very dark & enchanting aesthetic, which I absolutely loved! It was a bit slow paced (and VERY slow burn) at times, but never so much so that it lost my attention or induced any boredom. The main plot was definitely Gabriel (Gluttony) and Adriana’s romance, but there were also several side plots that helped keep things interesting during all of the slow burn. Adriana was intelligent, independent, and opinionated. She definitely kept Gabriel on his toes! Gabriel was quite arrogant, which irked me a bit at first, but I ended up really liking him! He was very mysterious and broody, but he was also absolutely whipped for Adriana! Loved them together! Cinderella retelling, enemies/rivals to lovers, second chance romance, forced proximity, hidden identities, he falls first, slow burn, lots of banter, masked balls & clubs, dragons, heaps of spice, and dual POV! Overall I enjoyed the hell out of this book!😜 I am now desperately hoping for Lust’s book to be next!"
"Not quite as good as Envy’s but worth the read! Still great! "

"Loved it! I couldn’t be more wrong about Prince Gluttony based off the prior books. I loved Adriana, she def was the only one for him. Can’t wait to get Pride & Lucia’s (Claudia) ending as this book gives you small hints that they will be the next book. Maybe Lust too since he was kinda worked up about something! I was surprised that Vittoria didn’t make an appearance. And Gluttony has a favor owed to the vampires so I’m wondering if that will play into the next books."
