"I truly enjoyed this book! I decided to read this book first in the series so I could read the Hannibal Series in chronological order. It was extremely fascinating to enter the mind of Hannibal Lector and to see the inner workings of his thought process. It finally sheds light on why he is the way he is. It was such an incredible and entertaining experience!!! I have always wanted to read this series, and so far, I am not disappointed in the slightest! The writing style is unique and one-of-a-kind! If you are interested in a "mind-thriller" type horror novel, this is totally the book for you!!!"

"It’s not what I thought it was going to be, but I enjoyed getting to know Hannibal’s origin story. It makes you root for him, paints him as a vigilante. Also, although I appreciate getting to know Hannibal, I like the movie better than the book."
