Bree HatfieldOkay so reading these books in succession was heavy. They are full of heart and warmth. It will make you want to visit a cafe in Japan. It’s a glimpse at the culture and legends still very alive in Japan. I suggest these books for fiction lovers of all ages.

Bree HatfieldEach chapter is a different person traveling in time for a different reason. You get invested in there people and their stories. Some and sad and some and happy, but all necessary to the anthology of this cafe.

Bree HatfieldI went into this read with limited scope of his writing abilities and he blew me away. The writing is so intimate and personal. Full of love it’s beautiful imagery tells a story you feel like your part of. Perfect.

Bree HatfieldI love all of her books and this one like the others was a scathing representation of a woman surviving. She survived being an immigrant and sexual assault and still chose to write of beauty and intimacy in such a delicate way. Excellent book from beginning to end.

Bree HatfieldWow this is such an engrossing book. I vowed that 2022 would be the year is devote to being better in every aspect of my life and being a better ally to BIPOC people and ally for my LGBTIA+ brothers and sisters is so important. This book makes me rethink even the mundane things I benefit from as a white woman and how to use that to help others, by listening to what they need and not buying into performative activism efforts.

Bree HatfieldThis books was so well written. I do wish they had made it clear it was about infertility. I like the book, but I am childless by choice. Also the characters in this book need a lot of therapy. Babies don’t fill a void in your life and their not all marriage is. Again very well written, but not the book for me.
