Royal holiday is the definition of a happy book that focuses on mature problem solving skills that healthy relationships should have. This was such a cute-sy book with butterflies in the stomach kind of crush where you are super excited to see and get to know someone new. I enjoyed the small tribulations that the couple had to go through and I thought the author timed when they would get through the problem in a very appropriate manner. None of the situations dragged (and they’re small so dragging would’ve been no bueno), nor did it feel like “that’s it?”. Although the story was super cute, my favorite part was gearing into the end and the end because to me it seemed less fluffy and more digging into the story. Overall it is a very fluffy happy romance that is a quick read! I would give the ending a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"
"This was so cute!!! I loved Vivian & Malcom so much and really enjoyed seeing them fall in love with each other! They’re two very different people that have both done a lot with their lives but they lift each other up so much and seeing how easy it was for them to talk to each other, goof around like kids, and hold each other accountable was so refreshing! I also love a good Royal romance and this one was so fun because it was royal adjacent instead of directly royal! I also loved seeing Vivian’s relationship with her daughter and Malcom’s relationship with his nephew!! I highly recommend the audiobook for this one too! Very much enjoyed it!!"
"I absolutely love Jasmine Guillory and their series. However, i absolutely hate this particular book. It was slow, boring, and there wasn’t enough depth to theses characters. Everything was too perfect and even their “problem” wasn’t a huge one. I get they are older characters but it would have been nice for her to dive into Maddie’s mom story and background. Maddie has such a fun large personality and it would have been nice to see that or something similar in her mom. "
