Hello well i just finished reading Aristotle and Dante discover the secrets of the universe and omg what a book. The absolute best and most beautiful book EVER!!! If you havent read it, you are seriously missing out. Young adult and mlm. Mexican queer, family, friendship, romance… awwwwwwwww i loved it so much!!!! Will be reading the second book real soon. Oh and the 10th year anniversary book edition is so beautiful, one of the most beautiful covers Evers, i actually gave that one to a friend

So I have not read it yet, but I’m about to start Tender Is The Flesh, and I have a question. Is there a major theme or message other than the obvious one about considering vegetarianism? I don’t want to take anything away from that, but I myself eat meat and I know it’s probably going to feel a bit preachy. A smaller ship, 12-ish people capacity, artificial gravity, 3 decks. Best method for moving between decks? Ladder, staircase, elevator, fireman's pole, something else?

Hi! I’ve been wanting to read this series and was wondering if it was worth it. Also is there anything else I should know before reading it like multiple pov, any deaths in the book (without spoilers), etc.

I don’t think this is everyone’s cup of tea, but it is mine. A surreal, dreamlike story about a woman who runs a magical pawnshop, where people exchange choices for their peace of mind, and a man who mysteriously happens upon this pawnshop. When a choice escapes into the world it is up to the two of them to return it before the consequences catch up to them. It’s thrilling and dreamlike.

So Binding 13 and the Tommen Boys series are YA, but do they have any spice? If so, how easy is it to skip over?

A hypothetical scenario. Humans are not from Earth. But in every other way, we are exactly as we currently are, biologically speaking. We have recently developed interstellar travel. We have arrived at Earth with the intent of starting a brand new colony. Earth is exactly as it is now, except without humans and the things humans have created. Where would we land and set up our 1st colony? What location would allow the greatest chance of success?

im like 30% into this and its keeping me interested…however the “he’s a god” mentality makes me cringe everytime. no one is that high on a pedestal let’s be totally fr…it’s bothering me enough i have to know others opinions bc im forcing myself to keep going at this point

I just came across this book and it sounds so good, but it’s a part of the Pixie Hollow/Tinkerbell lore i think (?) so would i be able to read it without being confused?
